Yamey connects people who need work done with independent local pros. We hold every payment until the job is done, check who's doing the work, and step in if something goes wrong.

Post a job in the app and choose the way that fits it.
Ask for quotes
Jobs that depend on details. Describe what you need; local pros send quotes.
You pay the quote you choose. Other quotes are dropped.
Inspection first
Jobs that need a look before anyone can price them, like a hidden leak.
You pay an inspection fee when you book the visit; the pro then quotes for the work.
Only pros who offer the service, work in your country and have room in their plan are offered your job. Before accepting, a pro sees the area of the job and how far away it is — never your exact address, which they see only once they've accepted.
Payments
Your money is held until you confirm the work
Paying through Yamey protects both sides: the customer knows the pro is paid only for work that's done, and the pro knows the money is there before they start.
- You pay into YameyCard, bank or other local methods, through our licensed payment partners, or from your Yamey wallet.
- The pro does the jobIf the price needs to change, the pro asks in the app. You approve a higher price (and pay the difference) or get the difference back if it's lower.
- You confirm it's doneIf you don't respond within 72 hours of the pro marking it complete, it counts as confirmed.
- The pro gets paidThe payment, less the platform fee, is released to the pro after a holding period of 7 days (14 for a new pro's first jobs).
Cancellations & disputes
If plans change or something goes wrong

| A problem with the work | Either side raises a dispute with photos and a statement. Our team reviews it and releases the payment to the pro, refunds you, or splits it. |
| A price change you agreed to lower | The difference goes back the way you paid. |

Join and verify
Sign up free, then confirm your email and take a live selfie. This gives you the Basic Verified badge.

Choose a plan
Pick Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond. Plans differ in how many trades you can offer and how many jobs you can take each month.

Pick your trades
Choose trades such as Plumbing or Electrical. You receive every kind of job in them, in your country.

Accept jobs, get paid
Accept the jobs you want, do the work, and receive the payment to your verified bank account.

Pros are independent service providers, not Yamey employees. They work in the country they signed up in, and must verify their bank account before they can receive payouts.

Everyone on Yamey gets Face Looks, a social feed to share photos, videos and updates, follow people and see what's happening nearby.
- Post, like, comment, share and save.
- Earn coins for taking part, and as cashback when you pay for jobs from your wallet.
- Use coins to boost a post or your profile, tip a creator, or take a little off your first plan payment.
- Coins have no cash value, can't be withdrawn and expire after 12 months.
- Report anything that breaks the rules; our moderators review it.
